Don't get caught up in the hype it's nothing special. The only thing i regret is that i bought the 50ml bottle because this will probably become my signature perfume. Not every fragrance needs to announce your presence or fill a room. The only downfall is the week sillage and does not last that long. If you want others to smell you, spray heavy (at least 15 times, not exaggerating). You do not need to buy this perfume. Also sense a bit of synthetic vibe with this one but no complain looking at the price. Shortly after spraying I get a light and rather interesting burned rubber sort of smell from it. Lets add up all the factors of why this should be in your collection and why Mont Blanc was foolish for discontinuing it: BoergeSmalls - I agree this opens up EXACTLY like Lalique White - but on the drydown they diverge; Lalique stays on the spicy, citrus path but the bamboo really stands out on this when it dries down. The scent profile is so soft and inoffensive, the projection so low that nobody can smell it on me. Decent longevity (8-10 hours) and moderate sillage, a must have for fresh spicy lovers. Very versatile, with an intimate type of projection. An Absolute delight for my nose in summer nights Starwalker has just the right amount of Sandalwood combined with citrus and cedar. The most detectable notes upon opening are bamboo, citrus, and some spices, although they are very shy. The bamboo and citrus are complemented by woods that hold this fragrance for hours of inoffensive yumminess. You would need to carry this with you and reapply continuously during the day to make it work. To me, this smells like you are out on a foggy, spring night on top of a hill covered in flower blossoms. Seems like same ballpark of few other frags I already own so not unique (Zegna Uomo, ADIDAS moves). It has none of these things. So, why should you buy this? It's a very addictive perfume i just can't stop smelling my wrist. It's good for humid months, small offices. Towards the mid I get more of a Versace Pour Homme Vibe. Unfortunately Starwalker Extreme is NOT AT ALL similar to the originals bamboo citrus scent. The sillage also not so good I think. A simple but yet exquisite scent often compared because of it's vibe to Versace Eau Fraiche and Azzaro Chrome Sport and I do agree to a certain extent since I own both. At first the bergamot and light spiciness starts it off. although the hype it worth, do not recommended for blind purchase at all. So I guess it reminds me of mont blanc legend as well. If you're planning on going on a date bringing a girl close to you she will definitely get this scent however if you were going to pick up a girl and not get extremely close she may not smell it. In fact, this $20 fragrance, that doesn't last more than an hour, smells reminiscent of a generic hand soap, some how ranks higher than Fragrances Like Dior Sauvage, CK One Shock, and other fragrances that are objectively better than this one. But, where Versace dries down to a woodier base on me, this remains a more powdery citrus scent throughout. Nonetheless, it's a freshie for casual, warm days when lounging around. I only wear this in mid-summer with scorching hot sunny temperatures in which you can get good longevity in that regard. Give it a couple of tries and don't be afraid to spray the shit out of it. The opening is very nice, and the middle and drydown are quite similar and linear, but that's a good thing because when you want to reapply, it is like continuing your scent without having to wait for a strong blast to go away like some others.
